How will I know when to change the battery in the fob?

When the battery is low, the fob's LED will blink red. This will only be visible when the fob is in motion. Also, a solid red light will show up on the bottom of Kevō 's light ring when you lock or unlock the door.

  1. Use a small coin to twist and pry apart the two halves of the fob.
  2. Slide the battery out from between the two contacts. Dispose of the battery according to local laws and regulations.
  3. Insert a new CR2025 battery, sliding it between the two contacts so that the positive face of the battery touches the positive contact.
  4. Press the two halves of the fob back together, making sure they snap into place.
