When the battery is low, the fob's LED will blink red. This will only be visible when the fob is in motion. Also, a solid red light will show up on the bottom of Kevō 's light ring when you lock or unlock the door.
TO CHANGE THE Kevō FOB BATTERY (VIDEO)
- Use a small coin to twist and pry apart the two halves of the fob.
- Slide the battery out from between the two contacts. Dispose of the battery according to local laws and regulations.
- Insert a new CR2025 battery, sliding it between the two contacts so that the positive face of the battery touches the positive contact.
- Press the two halves of the fob back together, making sure they snap into place.
